Old saying: “What’s sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.” Meaning: “Something you say to suggest that if a particular type of behavior is acceptable for one person, then it should also be acceptable for another person.”
One of the biggest political issues in Election 2016 is Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump promising to build a massive wall along the US-Mexico border to help keep people from illegally entering the US and to make Mexico pay for it.

WASHINGTON (AP) – “A plan to increase the overall height of the fence surrounding the White House by approximately 6 feet, about doubling its current height, won preliminary approval from a Washington arts commission Thursday. The move follows high-profile security breaches at the executive mansion over the past two years. The U.S. Commission of Fine Arts gave its concept approval Thursday to the new design, which also includes thicker and stronger metal fence pickets. The new design still must be reviewed by a second commission, the National Capital Planning Commission. The final design also must win approval from both commissions. Secret Service and National Park Service officials said in a statement that they hope to begin constructing the new fence by 2018.”
WALL STREET JOURNAL, WASHINGTON WIRE – “The federal Commission of Fine Arts has given its preliminary approval for a taller White House fence to better protect the presidential mansion after a rash of fence-hopping incidents. The commission on Thursday voted to approve an 11-foot-7-inch barrier surrounding the White House facility after a presentation by the U.S. Secret Service and the National Park Service. The new fence would replace the current 7-foot barrier. The new fence “incorporates anti-climb and intrusion detection technology, while respecting the historical significance and visitor experience at the White House and President’s Park,” the Secret Service and Park Service said in a joint statement. The commission, an independent federal agency charged with reviewing design and aesthetics at federal facilities, among other things, will still need to sign off on the final design, which will be refined and finalized in the coming months. The Secret Service and the Park Service hope to begin construction on the new White House fence by 2018. A set of temporary barriers have been placed around the White House since last year to keep visitors away from the current White House fence after a number of security incidents showed that it could be easily scaled. The temporary barricades prevent tourists and visitors from approaching the fence itself.”
I focused on the words “…rash of fence-hopping incidents…” Reminds me of “illegals” crossing the US-Mexico border. Just a rash. Kinda itches.
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is opposed to Trump’s wall. She prefers to “building bridges” instead of “building walls” – one of the sayings of her campaign against Trump. Maybe, if she wins, after moving into The White House, she will replace The White House fence with an attractive bridge – so that all those wonderful people – the politically correct Liberal Democrats and Left-Leaning Statists are so fond of – can have easier access to The White House.
It would also be like them saying how much they want to take away the guns of good citizens used to protect their homes and lives, but those who would ban those guns would of course keep their own guns to protect their homes and lives. It’s like, to hell with the American people (US citizens who vote) – only the government and elected politicians need to be protected and have a right to self defense.
Why should President Obama and potential future dictator Hillary Clinton care about a fence or wall anyway? Obama is already allowing in thousands of potential threats to our country. It gets worse…

I wonder, what good it does to try to protect The White House when they are unwilling to protect the country.
Maybe Trump is right about it being like a Trojan Horse. Open the gates wide – let them in. Soon, the radical Islam Muslims will be having their own party in The White House – and it will not require an inconvenient irritating democratic election to get there.
We don’t need no thought control.
No dark sarcasm in the classroom.
