A Gift from God as Time Is Tight

In my previous posting…

Christian religion can be fun – it’s not all hellfire and damnation preaching!

…I didn’t write that I’d be a saint, but that I’d focus more on the positive than the negative. Negative input = negative output. Positive input = positive output.

At about 2:30 into this music video using an old Booker T and the MG’s favorite – Time Is Tight – I heard on KOMA 92.5 FM Oklahoma’s Classic Rock and then looked for and found this music video . . . I was kinda surprised to see the boy briefly in the video is exactly how I looked at that same age – hair, face, body, style of clothing…

As I’ve somehow felt better while dealing with a small intestine involved hernia in my groin, a second hernia where my stomach connects to my esophagus putting pressure on lungs, a bleeding ulcer in my stomach, and a green stick fracture in my left knee…

I’ve been ripping out old moldy carpet in my living room and replacing it with Morocco Slate TrafficMaster Self-Stick Vinyl Tile – looks better, smells better, less allergies and asthma, easier to keep clean, and feels good for bare feet to walk on. Landlord provided the tiles. I’m doing the labor – slowly, no rush – almost done now. Complicated by old cracks in the concrete floor – I’ve been cleaning and sealing…

At first helping to pass the time by being entertained by the Breaking News stories on CNN – until I realized it has been draining the life out of me – so I muted the audio – important to know what is happening via captions but I don’t need to listen to it – therefore, listening to KOMA 92.5 FM Oklahoma’s Classic Rock – then restoring energy and I felt more alive again instead of being a watching dead news zombie.  Possibly the old moldy carpet was contributing to mild mini-strokes, me falling down unconscious briefly – discovering God or Jesus or the Holy Spirit or an angelic spiritual being left a message for me – downloaded into my soul, transferred to conscious mind like a dream memory…

Very strict gluten-free diet to compensate for genetic (my sister had it) Celiac Disease damage to small intestine and in turn causing white blood cells to activate a substance in the blood resulting in a painful rash on skin . . . doubled the cost of food each month because special items like gluten-free cost a bit more. An increasing number of merchants stocking them as an increasing number of products shout “Gluten Free” on packages. Businesses profiting from my suffering a bit too much. “Gluten-free is only way to heal the small intestine and end the symptoms taking on average 2 years with each case being different. I was following the strict diet and still getting flare-ups of the painful rash, as if something other than gluten/wheat is triggering the rash and other symptoms. Be it known some products were already “Gluten Free” but added the claim to justify increasing the price. I was becoming increasingly suspicious…

An alien concept showed up in the Twilight Zone part of my mind – maybe sometimes a cause can be a cure? Maybe it is not all gluten? Maybe there are exceptions? While wheat can do harm, the body might need it to help fix the damage? A kind of Catch-22 going against logic and science. There must be something to block the white blood cells from activating the substance “compliment” to cause the rash when wheat damages the small intestine…

Loratadine 10mg reduces the rash and aids healing especially during sleep at night or even brief naps during the day. American maximum does is 10mg per 24 hours, but the European maximum is 10mg per 12 hours. I noticed 10mg lost effectiveness in about 10 hours. So I tried the European plan and did not experience any negative side effects or overdose symptoms…

Awakened on the floor after a mild mini-stroke. Discovered a message came through from the Outer Limits of my soul. With a craving. An image of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Not just any peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Apple jelly and smooth peanut butter on Very Thin Pepperridge Farm White Bread. Goes against my gluten-free diet, but I considered it to be a suggestion from God or Jesus or the Holy Spirit or an angelic being. Not a suggestion. A gift. A taste of mercy, finally. The sandwich obliterated the rash in just 15 minutes, and all other Celiac Disease symptoms vanished. Makes no sense. Goes against science. Goes against logic. Act of desperation. Leap of faith. Only one explanation possible – a gift from God to heal me.
