Declared (and Nominated) 2016 Independent and Third Party Presidential Candidates, up to 25 July 2015

The Mainstream News Media is focused on Democrat and Republican Presidential Candidates for Election 2016, while so far ignoring all or most Independent and Third Party Presidential Candidates.

This is the current list from Wikipedia

Independent Candidates without a specified affiliation:

  1. Dan Bilzerian, Internet personality.
  2. Zoltan Istvan, futurist, writer, transhumanist philosopher from California; founder of a proposed Transhumanist Party.
  3. Terry Jones, pastor for Dove World Outreach Center from Florida; presidential candidate in 2012.
  4. Juaquin James Malphurs (Waka Flocka Flame), rap artist from Georgia – (Constitutionally ineligible – under age 35).
  5. Vermin Supreme, performance artist and perennial candidate from Massachusetts.
  6. Ted Williams, voice-over artist from Ohio.

  1. Roseanne Barr, entertainer from Hawaii; Peace and Freedom Party’s 2012 presidential nominee.
  2. Kenn Gividen, blogger and author from Indiana; nominee of the American Freedom Party. Running mate: Bob Whitaker.
  3. James Hedges, Tax Assessor for Thompson Township, Fulton County, Pennsylvania 2002-2007; seeking the nomination of the Prohibition Party.
  4. Gloria La Riva, newspaper printer and activist, from Albuquerque, New Mexico; nominee of the Party for Socialism and Liberation. Running mate: Eugene Puryear.
  5. Robert David Steele, activist and author seeking Libertarian Party nomination; candidate for the Reform Party’s nomination in 2012.
  6. Jill Stein, physician and 2012 Green Party presidential nominee from Massachusetts.

  • Green Party – Ballot Access: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Delaware, Washington D.C., Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, West Virginia, Wisconsin – (296 Electoral Votes).
  • Libertarian Party – Ballot Access: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming (366 electoral votes).
