Danley interviewed. No longer person of interest. Not involved. Paddock was carrying some of Danley’s identification when he was found dead in the hotel room. The pair lived in a retirement community in Mesquite, about an hour northeast of Las Vegas, and Danley was Paddock’s girlfriend. Paddock apparently was the manager of the apartment complex — which was being searched by police early Monday morning.

Correction: 23 guns found at Mandalay, 19 guns found in his home, a total of 42 guns located – all legal purchases at gun stores where some of the clerks or managers or owners remember him – nothing negative stood out about him during those purchases. Also, a hug supply of ammo for all of the guns. Most disturbing, however, is he stocked up on ammonium nitrate – a chemical used in the making of the bomb for in the Oklahoma City bombing 19 April 1995.

“Marilou Danley, the girlfriend of the gunman in the Las Vegas mass shooting, arrived at Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday night and was met by the authorities, according to a law enforcement official. She was expected to be questioned upon her arrival, a federal official said. The authorities are scouring the personal and financial history of the gunman, Stephen Paddock, 64, just days after one of the deadliest mass shootings in the United States, which left 59 people dead — including the gunman — and about 500 others injured. The federal official said Mr. Paddock wired thousands of dollars to the Philippines and the F.B.I. was scrutinizing the transaction.” – NY Times.
