Will Matthew become first Cat 6 Hurricane and impact U.S. Election 2016?
Video from weather.com: Category Six Hurricane Rating May Be Coming – Posted: Jul 28 2016 01:15 PM EDT, Updated: Jul 30 2016 07:49 PM EDT – Meteorologist Danielle Banks talks about the need for a category six hurricane rating.
My Prediction…
I have been and still am predicting a major hurricane at least as powerful as Hurricane Katrina will hit the United States, more likely east coast than coming in from the gulf, and its devastation will disrupt Election 2016. Will it be Hurricane Matthew? I don’t know. I am predicting New Jersey Governor Chris Christi will become a major figure leading the national recovery process, because of his experience with Hurricane Sandy impact on New Jersey. He is a Republican twice elected Governor of blue Democrat state New Jersey. As a Republican he’s currently on Trump’s team, but he does have a good relationship with Democrats. Just as the 9/11 terrorist attack brought the country together, this disaster will do the same but at much greater cost to lives and property. I am further predicting one of the presidential candidates will be injured by the storm. As result, that candidate will no longer be actively campaigning while recovering, and the other candidates will be too busy dealing with property damage to continue campaigning.

Experts: US East Coast needs to watch Hurricane Matthew closely – By Alex Sosnowski, AccuWeather.com Senior Meteorologist – October 2, 2016; 5:30 AM ET
- The East Coast of the United States remains on alert for potential impacts from Hurricane Matthew during the middle to latter part of this week.
- Matthew, currently a Category 4 (major) hurricane in the Caribbean, is expected to track northward from eastern Cuba to the Bahamas Tuesday into Wednesday.
- Beyond that, the hurricane could track along or near the U.S. East Coast.
- While there will be some impact from the storm on the U.S., how significant impacts are along the Atlantic Seaboard will depend on Matthew’s strength and proximity to the coast.
- At this time, possible tracks range from an initial landfall along the southern Atlantic coast to a storm remaining a few hundred miles offshore.
