Take the quiz to find your political match at this link: http://www.voter.guru
Excellent website – simple, easy to use, and I trust the quiz results.
The quiz matched me to Hillary Clinton. I know I’ve been sliding further left of center, but did not realize I’d been pushed that far left on issues. Even so, I will not vote for Clinton. For similar reasons – lack of honesty – I’ll not vote for Trump. At least Bernie Sanders is honest – Democrats might have been better off with him. I’ll likely vote for the Libertarians Johnson-Weld, and I consider them to be honest. I’ve had enough of lying politicians. I can respect those who are honest, even if I don’t agree with them on all issues. I’ve always believed current or former governors of states make the best presidents. Johnson and Weld were Republican governors twice elected in blue Democrat states. I don’t believe Clinton and Trump are being honest about their position on issues and what they would do to solve problems upon becoming President. I don’t trust them.

I’m a left-leaning Centrist. I average out to be Centrist by agreeing with Liberal Democrats on some issues – mostly personal and social, while agreeing with Conservative Republicans on some issues – mostly economy and government. So I’m similar to Libertarians, but not as extreme left or right as they are on some issues. It wasn’t that long ago I was in the center of the Centrist square, and briefly before that slightly right of center. Obama pushed me to the right. Republicans like Cruz pushed me to the left. I believe Hillary Clinton is more of a Statist (Totalitarian) than a Progressive Liberal Democrat. Some supporters of Socialist Democrat Bernie Sanders have referred to Clinton as being too centrist – a Centrist Democrat. She might appear to be that, but once in office I believe she will function as a left-leaning Statist. I believe Trump would function as a right-leaning Statist -would be like the dictator he is in his business world. Johnson and Weld are opposite of Statist, and would likely score as right-leaning Libertarians near the Centrist line. I’m guessing Jill Stein, Green Party candidate, would score on the line between Libertarian and Left Liberal.
I’m registered as an Independent (unaffiliated) voter.
