Idiom: March comes in like a lion, and goes out like a lamb. A variation is March roars in like a lion.

Proverb: The month of March usually starts with cold, unpleasant weather, but ends mild and pleasant.

March is the month I was born – 5 March 1956.

March 2015 certainly roared in like a lion. First day of March 2015 began with ice and snow on ground from the previous day’s storm. 30F felt like 24F with a north wind of only 6 mph.

Forecast indicates March 2015 will not go out like a lamb. Last day of March forecast is for evening thunderstorms into the night. A high of 82F, a low of 58F. Low south wind.
