Cruise ship disasters an indication of space tourism problems in future?

Another cruise ship disaster! Big Surprise! Breaking news! I’m so shocked!

Search Google News [or whatever you prefer to use for search] to find and read the many articles about cruise ship disasters. The new one is a cruise ship caught on fire.

Can a cruise ship catching on fire count as time already served in hell? After you die, when you go before the Great Judge, then maybe the time you spent on cruise ships will be one of the things to count as time already served in hell.

Maybe, for punishment, criminals can be sent out on cruise ships instead of put in jails or prisons.

Just imagine if the cruise ship had been in space instead of on the ocean!

With space tourism on its way, the cruise ship industry is setting a very bad example to follow. Most of the problems have been internal, not external caused by the sea or storms, but some have been damaged by large waves. People can survive those disasters and mistakes at sea, but less likely to be able to survive the same kind of disasters aboard a ship in space . . . perhaps a hundred years from now?

Breaking News 28 May 2113: Cruise Ship Enterprise reported on fire between Saturn and Titan! Ship’s engines disabled! Environmental controls disabled! Zero gravity toilets clogged! Toilets overflowing in the giant wheel section for creating artificial gravity after hitting an asteroid broke the wheel! As result of the sewage floating around, passengers have become ill and tried to use escape pods going nowhere! Shields have failed and the surviving passengers are now reporting radiation exposure symptoms from the recent solar flare!

“If you can’t take a little bloody nose, maybe you ought to go back home and crawl under your bed. It’s not safe out here. It’s wondrous, with treasures to satiate desires both subtle and gross. But it’s not for the timid.” ~ Q, in Star Trek the Next Generation.

“Space is disease and danger wrapped in darkness and silence.” ~ McCoy, in Star Trek 2009 movie.
